Harris Golf Day

Every year on the day of the Cheltenham horse race, this group of Lewis and Harris lads gather to play nine holes of golf. Mid-March guarantees weather that could be safely described as unsettled. This day delivered. Some sun interspersed with hail, sleet, and rain. Beers appeared to be the main sustenance to get them through the game.
